She made history by winning the first Indian origin woman winning the Miss Great Britain title. She started her career as a model under photographer Atul Kasbekar. She did notable assignments alongside Shahrukh Khan and under Kingfisher, appearing in the cosmopolitan magazine, Provogue earning her supermodel of India status.
